LucidTraits ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at lucidtraits.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last modified.

What LucidTraits provides

LucidTraits is a free, browser-based personality assessment tool. It offers a 25-question test grounded in the Big Five (OCEAN) personality model and maps your responses to one of 16 named personality types.

The Service is provided for informational and reflective purposes only. Results are not a clinical diagnosis, psychological assessment, or professional evaluation of any kind. They should not be used as the sole basis for making significant life decisions relating to career, relationships, health, or any other domain.

Content and ownership

All content on LucidTraits — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, question items, type descriptions, and visual design — is the property of LucidTraits and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may share your personal result link, screenshot your result for personal use, or quote brief passages for non-commercial commentary with attribution. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from site content for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

How you may use the Service

You agree to use LucidTraits only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to collect, harvest, or scrape data about other users
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Use automated tools or bots to access or interact with the Service at scale
• Misrepresent your affiliation with LucidTraits or imply endorsement
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair its availability

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LucidTraits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Personality results are reflective in nature. We accept no liability for decisions made based on test results.

Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy describes how we handle (and intentionally do not collect) your personal data.
